Actually it be good with mayo. As weird as it sounds in it, I even seen on the food network when they were having cake contest and this lady had put potatoes and another had put can of tomato sauce in their cake batters. I couldnt believe it it was was the most unusual thing I ever heard, but they said it makes the cake most and to the judges surprise it was very moist the cake and it was great.
Back during the seventies a major mayonnaise brand had a chocolate cake recipe on their mayonnaise jars. It was very similar to this one except it had baking soda, vinegar and chocolate syrup in it too, and it got baked in the oven. I always sprinkled powdered sugar on top. It was absolutely delicious so I can’t wait to try this recipe. Love chocolate cake, especially when it’s easy to make. Thanks for sharing.
